Jenny Tegrotenhuis

I offer support to work through challenges - emotional, relational or developmental - which occur because of current stresses, illness or past traumas. I work with all ages from children and adolescents to older adults and couples, using a variety of therapeutic modalities suited to your needs. I am an empathic listener, helping you tune in to wisdom and strength to make the changes you need to move forward. I am experienced in addressing concerns of mind, body and spirit related to anxiety, depression, mood and relationship issues. I work with couples to create satisfying marriages of growth and transformation.

I have experience working with children and teens who are dealing with trauma; abuse; divorce; learning and behavioral challenges, as well as giftedness. I work with couples to bring reconciliation and healing to wounded relationships. I work with single adults to strengthen and encourage on-going personal growth and healing.

Each method I use is founded in research to be safe and effective for promoting insight and change. I use Cognitive Therapy, Family Systems and Attachment therapies, Lifespan Integration, as well as play therapy and sand tray therapy techniques. While my academic background is clinical, I am also a Christian practitioner.
