How can talking to someone help me? This is a common question I hear, my answer is this... having a safe nonjudgemental environment to explore your feelings and reflect on your behaviors will alow you to be open to new solutions. That is what counseling with me will provide you. I have 18 years experience helping families, couples, adults and children in my private practice. I provide clients with a Cognitive-Behavioral and Mindfulness approach to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, AD/HD, infertility, parenting and marital conflict.

I have over a decade of experince as a Parent Consultant. Through counseling and workshops, I teach parents ways to understand and respond to their child's behavios rather than react. This approach uses brain research and teaches calming strategies to help parents and children through the challenges of discipline.

My practice is very eclectic. I am able to intergrate therapeutic techniques from many disciplines, ranging from using Imago Couples Therapy strategies for couples in marital conflict, to play based therapy for children and meditation for some clients to help create more calm and balance in their lives.
