I have been providing psychotherapy for over 30 years to individuals, couples, and groups. Throughout one's life, there are times when feelings such as depression and anxiety can create a sense of loss of control. Life events such as the death of a loved one, divorce, anger, or interpersonal conflict can feel overwhelming. My clients would say that I treat every one according to their particular issues, with respect, and with great support and understanding.

Individual therapy and couples therapy is a major part of my practice. In addition, as a patient advances in therapy, it is often beneficial to be treated in a psychotherapy group. I believe strongly that for the right person, a group experience will enhance and expedite the process.

I have a subspecialty in adoption, infertility, and families of children with learning disabilities. My curriculum vitae includes many years on the board of Resolve, Families for Private Adoption, and Kingsbury Day School. I led infertility support groups, ran the Helpline and was the Mental Health Coordinator for Resolve. I also did adoption homestudies.

Taking the first step toward getting help is often the most difficult
