Are you looking for a way to transform your pain or struggles into pure expression? In Art Therapy, I will support you in your therapeutic journey to explore and use the safety of art and our session or group. In art therapy there is no room for criticism and judgment. Art Therapy provides individuals an opportunity to explore personal problems and potentials utilizing both verbal and non-verbal expression. Everyone experiences challenges in life. Art therapy is for any one of any age. There is no wrong way to do art, as long as you are safe with the materials.
I use an eclectic approach, tailoring to the strengths and needs of my clients. Together we will develop a therapeutic path, that will benefit in all areas of your life. Most clients make art in our first session. The art you create is a safe holding space or transitional object.
Prior art making experience is NOT necessary in our work together. I use art therapy in individual, family and group therapy.
