Therapy is a collaborative process. I believe that everyone has the innate capacity for personal growth. I help individuals foster a healthier understanding of themselves and their emotional world. It is my job to assist in creating a place of peace, love and acceptance. Counseling offers us the opportunity to identify the factors that contribute to difficulties and to deal effectively with the psychological, behavioral, interpersonal and situational causes of those difficulties.
Common issues for which individuals seek counseling include: Family Issues, Developmental Issues (ie. Separation, Identity Concerns), Depression, Gender Concerns, Sexuality Concerns, Academic Problems, Career Uncertainty, Physical, Emotional or Sexual Abuse, Physical Problems, Grief, Alcohol or Substance Abuse, Eating Disorders and Body Image Issues, Depression, Anxiety and Sleep Concerns.

Professional Connections
“Jessica is an educated and experienced therapist. She is resourceful and meets clients where they are. I notice her talent as a couples and family therapist, being able to recognize and validate all persons in the relationship. I recommend all my children and adolescent contacts to her; due to her specialized training with children, and wonderful ability to relate to kids while getting them to open up.” |
