As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mentor, I have over 15 years of experience working with clients of all ages, especially in the areas of self-esteem, decision making and goal-setting, stress and anxiety, cultivating healthy communication, and working through times of transition. As an Educator for almost 20 years, I am also passionate about working with youth who are experiencing challenges with school, including learning differences. In addition, parents often need support in navigating the teen years, so helping parents and teens to improve their relationship through better communication is also one of my main professional goals.

I utilize integrative therapy, which means I am able to call upon a variety of therapeutic techniques in order to personalize treatment for you and your family. Some examples of techniques offered: Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Equine Centered Counseling, aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Techniques and Play Therapy, and Reality Therapy.

I believe that we are all whole, perfect, and complete human beings, just exactly as we are. So no matter how messy we feel, how much pain we are experiencing, we are all capable of healing ourselves; we sometimes just need a little bit of guidance, support, and unconditional acceptance.
