I'm a highly trained psychotherapist who is equally comfortable working with individuals, couples, & families. I specialize in working with couples on their relationship issues. I have a strong interest in the humanistic approaches to therapy and believe that the therapeutic relationship is my most important healing tool in helping my clients reach their innate potential to heal and grow in a positive direction if given the necessary support, guidance, and understanding. I foster this environment through a healthy, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship.

I am a board certified marriage and family therapist, so I take a systemic approach to working with my clients; specializing in helping partners work on their relationship. I have specialist training in medical family therapy; working with families that experience serious and chronic illness; collaborating with their healthcare providers.

My goal is to assist my clients to identify their personal strengths and potential for positive change, to create new ways of seeing themselves, their relationships, and their world, and to help them develop coping skills that promote flexibility and an ability to live life to a greater potential.
