Move beyond struggling with your inner experience in the direction of the vibrant and meaningful life you have chosen to live. I have worked at length with people who seek to move beyond a life dominated by fear, anger, worry, sadness and apathy, toward a vibrant, valued life. I strive for a collaborative, mindful and respectful therapeutic stance. I have worked with countless families and individuals who are suffering, from different walks of life and cultural backgrounds. I embrace and celebrate diversity and honor equality and our shared humanity.

I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers, a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers and of the Association of Contextual Behavioral Science. I have been continually training and upgrading, primarily in an integrative, empirically grounded, third generation Behavior Therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

ACT has proven effective for many clinical presentations. It focuses on disentangling us from limiting stories and thoughts, promoting present-moment awareness, emotional acceptance and exploration. This is in the service of freeing our energies for actively embodying the meaningful, vibrant lives that we stand for.
