I treat a variety of client concerns, but my strengths are: 1. helping women who feel trapped in the binge-diet cycle learn to stop using food as a substitute for dealing with their feelings; 2. helping individuals who are struggling in their relationships with others learn to better understand themselves and the others in their lives so as to find peace in relating; 3. helping individuals process and grieve difficult losses; 4. working with individuals who are having difficulties regarding their sexual orientation. 5. doing pro-choice counseling with women regarding a current or past pregnancy.

Feeling truly heard by someone caring and supportive is important and makes you feel better. For many concerns, that person may be a particular friend or family member you turn to when you are stressed or overwhelmed. But sometimes, you need more. That's when counseling can help.

The Enneagram is indispensible to my work as a counselor. When used in conjunction with traditional counseling, my clients and I are able to more quickly identify the unique gifts and obstacles the client possesses, and progress in counseling is greatly expedited.
