Dr. Alicia Townsend-Neurofeedback

I believe in providing a nurturing, warm environment to enhance the healing process. I take a very integrated approach to therapy, healing all aspects of the self - both mind and body together. My training is in brainwave assessment and treatment (EEG biofeedback/neurotherapy), health psychology, and sport psychology. I work in conjunction with a psychophysiologist and a physician, and our clinic specializes in pain management, stress management, weight control, headaches, POTS, hypertension, fibromyalgia, and other psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, and attention deficit disorder.

We offer many modalities of treatment in collaboration with one another to treat the whole person. We provide biofeedback, neurotherapy (EEG biofeedback and brainwave entrainment), hydrotherapy, relaxation training, heart rate variability training, and counseling.

I offer EEG Biofeedback, which is also known as "neurofeedback" or "neurotherapy." EEG Biofeedback can help many brain-based symptoms and disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and OCD. With EEG Biofeedback, you can learn to change your brain's activity and change your symptoms.
