Dr. Michael Bambery

I have worked professionally with individuals, parents and families for 15 years. I see psychotherapy as a collaborative process of discovery and change between client and therapist. Its goals are relief from distress, management of life in more satisfying ways, and an increased capacity to work, love, and play. I listen attentively and with an open mind. I am a fully licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Michigan. I have published several peer reviewed empirical and theoretical articles in the areas of: evidence-based practices in psychology, the measurement of psychotherapy processes and effectiveness, and the diagnosis and treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders in children.

At CNLD, I provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for learning, attention, emotional/psychiatric, and developmental disorders. As stated above I also provide individual, parent guidance and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults.
