I am enthusiastic about helping you unravel any difficulties you face, replacing them with healing ways to navigate your life's 'streams'. Whether you are seeking help for depression, anxiety, autism, Asperger's, ADHD or learning disabilities, and no matter whether the help is for yourself, your family or your child, together we will find workable solutions that will leave you educated and confident in making the choices necessary to direct your life, while feeling at peace with those choices.
I'm excited to help you use CBT techniques to improve your life as an adult, but play is my choice for engaging children in conversation. I especially enjoy working with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders, including Asperger's.
My interest in ASDs began when my daughter was diagnosed 8 years ago. I have had the opportunity to work with many children, adolescents and college students diagnosed with Autism/Asperger's, teaching me the breadth of this spectrum. Access to UAHuntsville libraries helps my understanding of current research.
