I provide individual therapy and couples counseling for adults, and parenting groups and child therapy for children. My approach to individual therapy is calm direct and interactive. The focus is typically on the current life stressers. This style is most effective with problems related to anxiety and depression stemming from relationships, work, parenting loss, and life transitions. Couples counseling is indicated when tension in your relationship becomes unmanageable , and can also useful before long term commitments are made. My approach to play therapy is child-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to allow children a space for self-expression, while improving their coping skills. Counseling teenagers blends aspects of talk therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.

In parenting groups or private counseling sessions, I encourage parents to better understand how their self-limiting beliefs hinder their ability to parent effectively. I provide education, guidance and support to help parents feel more confident and in control when dealing with their children.
