I provide a safe healing place for my clients to share their concerns. I'm compassionate and insightful and I strive to help clients reach effective short term goals. My approach is humanistic and holistic and is based on cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused treatments. Furthermore, I use Imago techniques to assist couples in re-creating intimacy and romance in relationships. I primarily work with adults and adolescents, and have vast experience in assisting children with trauma and abuse as well as at risk families.
I have great success with clients who need more than just a "talk therapy". I incorporate mind-body techniques, such as Hypnosis/Guided Meditation; Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT); and Energy Medicine. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a mind-body technique widely used for treating Anxiety Disorders and Traumas, including PTSD.
In addition to being a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am a Professional Life Coach and received my training from the Institute for Life Coach Training which is accredited by the International Coaching Federation. Prior to my private practice, I worked with several prominent agencies in Miami and Broward County
