Feeling better does not need to be a complicated recovery process achieved only after years of intense treatment. I developed The Mental Gym counseling concept through an understanding that, just as we build physical muscle by working with a sports trainer, emotional well-being is created through teaming with a therapist trained in pinpointing issues and providing solutions. Our bodies and minds have the ability to heal themselves: I am invested in helping my clients develop the healthy habits involved with allowing this process.

Our thoughts can get the best of us, bringing about feelings of anxiety or depression, which trigger unhealthy reactions and bad decision-making. As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I will consult with you, guiding you into the healthy habit of attaching to appropriate thoughts, resulting in happier feelings and actions.
