I am an independently licensed Profession Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) in the State of Ohio and have been working in the field for over thirty years, helping individuals from a variety of backgrounds with substance use and mental health issues. I have experience working in residential treatment settings, outpatient community mental health programs, and in private practice. While I specialize in treating addictions to drugs or alcohol, gambling, or the internet, I have learned that these issues are often accompanied by depression, anxiety, panic, and grief.

Alexis has experience working with individuals and couples in a variety of settings including community mental health agencies and substance abuse treatment centers. Alexis has worked with adults seeking help to heal relationships, build self-esteem, cope with difficult life transitions, and learn tools to manage symptoms of anxiety and grief.

I have been counseling for over 40 years and have provided psychotherapy services to all types of individuals,couples and families. I understand how difficult it is to first enter counseling and I am committed to making it a successful experience for them. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. In addition, I am also certified in Clinical Social Work and Substance Misuse Disorder. I began her therapeutic career as a Mental Health Therapist in a male youth residential behavioral treatment facility, treating children of all ages. I have also worked in outpatient therapeutic settings, in-patient substance abuse treatment facilities, as well as many others.

During these 2 to 4 weeks, we will see both of you Together & Individually, as well as Help each of you Learn the Art of Empathy, Sensitivity & Compassion. These Workshops are Informative & Powerful, in order to Accelerate the Healing Process & Stop any further Damage from Occurring. In Addition, Our Success RATE is 85% of Our Couples that have Successfully Completed Our Couples Workshops or Alcohol Treatment.
