I am a Christian Counselor. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My experience includes, but is not limited to, working with children and families with DSS or DJJP involvement, children and adolescents with behavioral issues such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Adjustment Disorders, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I also work with those suffering with Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, PTSD, and other issues, as well as family therapy, marital and premarital counseling.
I believe that Christian support and sound biblical approaches are necessary to identify issues and promote lasting change. I incorporate prayer, scripture, and biblical principles into counseling when desired by the client.
I utilize an eclectic approach in counseling, realizing every client is unique, has individual needs, and want to meet them where they are in their life. I believe that with non-judgmental understanding and empathy, most people can learn to resolve their personal challenges and maintain productive lives.
