In our sessions, we’ll start simply with a mindful check-in, grounding you amidst the waves of anxiety or weight of depression. Together, we’ll gently unravel both recent and deeper-rooted experiences that might be feeding these feelings. We’ll shine a light on any assumptions or stories you might be holding onto, addressing them with both curiosity and compassion. To offer you immediate relief and tools for resilience, I’ll guide you through specialized breathing exercises, somatic awareness techniques, and meditations.
These strategies aim not only to soothe your current distress but also to arm you with a plethora of resources to face the future with hope and confidence. To get there, many tools can be used from a number of approaches. I've listed the ones I use most often on this page but please feel free to ask me about any approaches you are curious about.
My primary therapeutic approach and tools comes from Mindfulness, Somatic Awareness, CBT and Internal Family Systems. I also help with Psychedelic Integration, which involves incorporating experiences and insights from a past psychedelic journey into one's daily life in a meaningful and beneficial way to support personal growth, healing and self-discovery.
