I am a Clinical Psychologist who works with both teens and adults. Most people seek my guidance when they feel stuck regarding their health, relationships, work, and family life. Often there is an underlying depression, anxiety, or low self esteem. Sometimes we realize that it stems from childhood neglect or trauma. We will explore your past, identify your strengths, and help you to develop new ways of thinking, feeling, and acting that better serve your life vision and goals. My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic.
I was educated in Boston and trained at UCLA. My main clinical orientation is Cognitive Behavior Therapy. But I also like to help my clients feel and understand their emotions. I find mindfulness a good technique to reduce the power of self-defeating thoughts. I also consider exercise, nutrition, sleep, and meditation as very important to mental health.
