Using empathy, humor, and an objective perspective, I will collaborate with you to develop an effective, down-to-earth approach to your current life challenges, as well as long-standing personal concerns. My job is to assist you in using your own self-knowledge to draw on your unique strengths and personal resources to respond to your challenges. We'll work together to put problems into a workable perspective and to create a realistic plan for addressing those problems.
Our emotions influence every minute of every day, from how effectively we work or study, to our comfort level with interactions with others -or with ourselves. In therapy, we'll learn how to recognize and respect the emotions that come up for us, and figure out ways to manage to the ones that are most difficult for us.
