In counseling, you can find the motivation and energy you need to achieve the happiness you desire. You can learn to overcome life's obstacles and find greater satisfaction in daily life. My mission is to teach you skills that will enable you to meet life's challenges and become a better "you." I work with women, men, couples, and teens of all ethnicities in a safe, gentle, respectful way. *You* are the expert in your life; what I add is knowledge, insight, and experience that can help you get more out of life. What you learn here can last a lifetime.
I use multiple kinds of therapy, based on what has the best chance of helping. Often, distorted thinking can be identified and corrected. Sometimes, problems have their roots in past events, especially negative childhood experiences. The therapy you receive will be customized to what you want to accomplish, what you are able to do.
My office is in downtown San Jose, close to Highways 880, 101, and Guadalupe Parkway. I have the knowledge, experience, and skills to help you to discover what you need and to make changes that will improve your life. Please CALL or EMAIL me with questions, and let's get started.
