Advanced Psychotherapy & Healing Associates

At Advanced Psychotherapy & Healing Associates, we have experience treating a wide range of clinical issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, and more. We use a variety of approaches, depending on the clients' needs. We are caring and pro-active: we do not believe in the distant, unknowable therapist who does not react or express concern. Therapy to us is where both client and clinician work together in a professional relationship.

In addition to the other specialties listed, my partner, Donna Strauss, and I have done individual psychotherapy extensively with victims of sexual abuse and trauma. I am also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of clinical Social Work at New York University, supervising graduate students. I also provide private supervision for psychotherapists.

Our practice offers clinicians with diverse backgrounds, specialties, experience, genders, and training. We provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
