In my 25+ years of work as a therapist, I have developed expertise in working with adults, adolescents, and families in a number of clinical areas, including depression and anxiety disorders, relationship difficulties, stress-related issues, and life transitions such as divorce, job loss, and grief. I also have advanced training in working with trauma.
As an SEP (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner) I work with people impacted by various types of trauma that create symptoms which interfere with daily functioning and well being. These may include sexual, physical and psychological abuse, violence, accidents, the impact of medical diagnoses and procedures, and early loss and deprivations.
In my practice, I strive to provide a warm and aesthetically rich environment conducive to healing. I welcome and respect a diversity of clients regardless of race, sexual orientation, disability, or religious or political affiliation.
