I enjoy working with clients to break through current limitations & to assist them in meeting their mental health & personal growth goals. I operate from a belief that we are all self-actualizing & unfolding in a positive direction. At times I will be a non-directive, non-judgmental listener; at times more directive, depending on individual goals or needs. My work is Integrative & includes Talk, Expressive, Transpersonal, Play, Sand Tray/Sand World, Narrative, Storytelling, Guided Imagery, Repatterning, Mindfulness, Journeying, Family Constellations, Dreams, & some Cognitive/Behavioral approaches. I work with Grief, Loss, Trauma, Stress Management, Early Childhood, various Life Stages, & Personal Growth.

My Psychodynamic perspective embraces the concept of the subconscious & the importance of childhood & prenatal experiences. I'm interested in Psychodrama, Role Playing, Transpersonal, Depth, & Archetypal Psychology, Expressive Therapies, Cognitive Behavioral techniques & DBT. My primary focus is facilitating self-exploration & self-discovery in an atmosphere of unconditional positive regard and empathy.

I am trained in various Expressive, Transpersonal & Shamanic Therapies, am a Reiki Master, have an M.Ed. In Early Childhood, Elementary Education with Waldorf Certification. I taught in Waldorf Schools for 12 years, and I'm a former Public School Administrator & Teacher K-6. I am bilingual in Spanish.
