“Do you have concerns regarding your child? Has his or her school expressed concern regarding level of functioning or behavior? Has there been a family separation, divorce, abuse history or other reason for your child to be anxious or depressed? My goal as a therapist is to help a client address thought processes, feelings and behavior, understand inner conflicts, and find new ways to cope with, and alleviate distress. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have worked for many years in both school and community mental health settings utilizing play therapy with children.

Play therapy is where I help a child make sense of difficult life experiences or complex psychological issues through the activity of play. Play is a child's natural way of communicating and together we can explore various issues they might find difficult to express in other ways.

I work with individuals, couples, and families to help them overcome a range of psychological and emotional concerns. Whether difficulties stem from a family issue, school issue or other situational factor, I can be a therapuetic resource.”
