Support Group for Teenagers Coping with Divorce

The goal is to help teens understand the often maladaptive thoughts, feelings and behaviors that result in individuals going through a divorce. With group participation and my guidance, they will feel validated for their feelings. This immediately provides the safe milieu necessary for being understood. In turn, they will be eager to learn the hows and whys of their unconscious anger and how to now rechannel it into more productive, healthy ways of relating and navigating through this world. We will meet weekly.
