We are hurt in relationships with ourselves and others. We are also healed in relationships. Are your struggling with depression, substance or behaviorial addiction, or the negative affects of another's addiction? Is your marriage difficult? Are you grieving a death, separation or divorce? Is a recent medical diagnosis or long-term chronic illness more than you can manage? Through a relationship with a supportive counselor, life's challenges can become opportunites for emotional, psycholgoical and spiritual growth. I would be priviledged to be your guide and companion along the path to a fuller, more joyful relationship with yourself and others.
Through my work at Father Martin's Ashley, a nationally-acclaimed addictions rehabilitation center, I gained an expertise in working with those in early recovery and their families. As a graduate student working with the chronically and terminally ill and their families, I developed insight on the their unique needs.
As a LPCMH, I have met Delaware's academic and professional requirements for private practice. As a counselor with pastoral training, my work with clients considers the impact of spirit on mind and body. Individual appointments available. Support groups now forming: Addictions; Families of addicts; Loss and Grief. Call for a free consultation.
