“It takes a lot of bravery to ask for more out of one's life. I offer encouragement as I challenge clients to examine their motivations, behavioral patterns, primary relationships, and anything that may be blocking them from achieving their full potential for happiness. I feel I am able to establish trust and rapport quickly (even with reluctant clients), and always welcome a family/systems approach even when it feels as though communication between a client and his/her loved one has completely broken down. I offer a trained ear, a healthy therapeutic relationship, and practical strategies for emotional wellness.

The majority of my clients are challenged by relationship issues and major life transitions (career shifts, moves, new motherhood, remarriage, etc.). I also have experience treating adolescents for anxiety, social difficulties, and mood disorders. Finally, I've begun working with clients who struggle with weight loss and weight loss management.
