Andrea Miller

Counselor , MS , EdS , LPC , RPT

(980) 404-2055 x22
I use a supportive, holistic approach when working with clients. I believe the most important part of the counseling process is the counselor-client relationship. I believe healing occurs through a respectful, collaborative approach that allows for self-exploration. My approach comes from a relational model of counseling, while also using techniques that meet the needs of each individual client. I hope to help clients discover and learn to trust their own wisdom through the counseling process.
In my work with children, I also believe that children have a natural and innate tendency toward growth. I view the healing process for children to include both the child and the family and primarily use play therapy.
I focus on helping families enter the child's world to help promote growth and awareness in the child. I also believe strengthening the child-parent relationship is essential for healing and growth. I provide parenting skills and collarborate with parents throughout treatment.
