“As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults, I am able to help those that often have multiple issues. While I greatly enjoy working with the diversity of all ages, I am passionate about helping children by utilizing play and art therapy techniques. I strive to treat everyone with respect and dignity, to continuously improve my knowledge and skills as a therapist by attending ongoing educational opportunities, and keeping up to date with the latest research.

My goal with every client is to help them put the pieces of their life back together by providing a safe and comfortable environment. In getting to know each person, I try to show them what qualities that they have within to lead a productive life with purpose.

I am a Level 1 trained clinician in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a highly researched and validated method used in treating Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. It is also being used with some people in treating depression, anxiety, and phobias.”
