Dr. Angelica Perez-Litwin

Psychologist , PhD

(845) 202-1100
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 16 years of successfully treating, counseling and empowering individuals. I work with clients experiencing emotional stress associated with life situations and transitions (at home, relationships, work/career). I also specialize on depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. Many of my clients are smart women who have decided to work on improving their self-confidence, feeling good about themselves, and making good decisions. I also work with teenagers older than 16 on self-esteem issues, depression and social anxiety.
My approach to counseling and therapy is relaxed, but empowering. I skillfully combine a client-centered approach with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic perspectives, as well as solution-focused and life coaching strategies.
Academic Degrees from Columbia University and Fordham University. Formerly held a Research Assistant Professor Faculty Appointment from New York University School of Medicine, and co-Directed their Multicultural Memory Clinic, part of the Aging and Dementia Research Center.
