Asking for help is a sign of strength. By seeking professional help you are taking your first step towards mental wellness. I feel privileged to be part of the healing journey with my clients.I use a person-centered approach and recognize that everyone has individual strengths. I am also a certified drug and alcohol counselor,and I work with with dual diagnosis (mental health and substance abuse disorders) In addition to counseling, I facilitated Parent Education classes and Stress Management workshops and Solution-Focused Depression groups. I encourage using journaling as a tool for self-discovery.
I also provide substance abuse assessments. The SASSI Assessment is a substance abuse screening inventory. The cost of the assessment is $150. This includes intake session, completion of the assessment and a report to your doctor, probation officer or other professional requesting the assessment.
