Do you feel life is giving you challenges you do not feel prepared to face? Are you overwhelmed and needing support to sort things out? Do you feel stuck and in need of changes in life direction? I work with people where they are respectfully encouraging and guiding them as they explore issues and define goals to bring balance to their life and healing to their spirit.
I have experience working with people struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma from childhood or adulthood. My special interest is working with people who are grieving the loss of a loved one or a broken relationship, coping with serious illness, job loss, addictions in the family, moving, empty nest and retirement.
Clients tell me that I am easy to talk with and that they quickly come to trust the confidential nature of our work together. I use a variety of approaches including traditional therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and cognitive behavioral therapy, tailoring the style to specific needs of clients.
