Do you want to feel better about yourself -- your body, health, life, work, relationships, spirit? You CAN change, and things can change. I integrate many different approaches that help people with anxiety, depression, food/weight issues, relationship, wellness/personal growth challenges. Listening carefully and compassionately to what you need and what works for you, being willing to go beyond "talk therapy" into expressive arts, guided imagery, and other body-mind and holistic practices, I support you in opening the doors of recovery, growth, and healing. I work with individuals 18+, and I offer Eating with Grace counseling, groups and consultation.
Eating With Grace is a non-diet, healthy, and sustainable approach to end compulsive overeating and food obsession, one day at a time. I offer Eating With Grace groups as well as individual counseling and consultation in person, on the phone and on line. Also available: workshops/trainings for professionals.
I integrate Eastern and Western approaches to recovery and healing, and can work closely with alternative and mainstream providers. I've been a student and practitioner of Buddhist meditation since 1978; a yoga practitioner since 1985. I practice what I teach!

ANYA RAVEN HUNTER, LICSW, 2 Church Street, Suite 3H, Burlington, Vermont
Every Tuesday, Wednesday at 6pm - 8pm
$30 - $60 per session
Eating With Grace is a non-diet, healthy, and sustainable approach to end emotional eating, binge eating, and food obsession, one day at a time. The Eating With Grace BASIC GROUP offers a safe and confidential space to any woman over 18 who eats compulsively. Women in the group gain the understanding, skills, and support they need to work through the issues that underlie troubles with eating, body image, and weight. This is not a diet or weight loss group, even though it is likely your body will change as you eat and care for yourself differently.
