“Psychotherapy with Arnie provides a nurturing environment for self-understanding and healing. We'll use mindfulness and metaphors from my book "Wild Chickens and Petty Tyrants: 108 Metaphors for Mindfulness" (Wisdom Publications) to develop wisdom and open the heart of self-compassion. From this process you will connect more directly with life, cope better with adversity, and enhance your ability to communicate. Therapy and mindfulness practices will help you to become more at peace within your self, relationships, and the world at large. I look forward to sharing this experience with you. Please visit exquisitemind.com for more information.

I am trained in mindfulness-based, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), existential and psychodynamic approaches. The emphasis of our work together is on developing tools and skills to help you cope with your life problems. Mindfulness meditation training will be part of your therapy.

I've been practicing meditation and yoga for 25 years. I specialize in therapy with Buddhists, psychotherapists, physicians, writers, artists, and others who are interested in meditation. I work with individuals and teach group workshops based on Wild Chickens and Petty Tyrants.”
