Dr. Weinberg has been conducting psychotherapy since 1967. He studied with Abraham Maslow at Brandeis University and received a B.A. in Psychology from Brandeis in 1965. He obtained a Ph.D. in Psychology from Boston University in 1978 with a specialization in Clinical Psychology. In 1973 he was licensed as a psychologist in Massachusetts. From 1969-75 he served as Associate Clinical Psychologist at the Brandeis University Psychological Counseling Center. He has maintained a private practice since 1969.
Dr. Weinberg holds memberships in the American Psychological Association, the Massachusetts Psychological Association, and the Association for Humanistic Psychology. He is on the Board of Directors of the South Shore Coalition of Independent Therapists. He is a provider for more insurances than those listed here.
Since he began professionally facilitating change in people in 1967 Dr. Weinberg has helped thousands of people overcome personal problems and improve the quality of their lives. Although many people who see him choose to utilize health insurance, maximum confidentiality is achieved through private payment.”

Issues commonly addressed are relationship problems, family concerns, need for support from others, depression, anxiety, social skills, dealing with various emotions effectively, self esteem, communication issues, loneliness, loss, life transitions, anger management, suicidal thoughts and feelings, sexuality, interpersonal dynamics, personal validation and affirmation, finding alternatives and options for dealing with problems, having a safe place to share personally, self-actualization, etc.. Covered by health insurance. People may come one time to make an informed decision about committing to regular attendance.
