“Let's face it, we all experience anxiety and depression in our lives, even therapists. When we feel healthy we are more resistant to stress and it does not rob us of our joy in life. When life stresses are overwhelming they often drag us into physical and mental illness. A good personal relationship with someone we can confide in is the best resource for long-term success in psychotherapy. I have been working with people for nearly forty years. In the last ten years I have been supporting medical providers in helping people they see in their professional practices. I most like to help people with relationship issues and with managing chronic illness and pain. The people I have worked with have taught me a lot about adaptive ways of dealing with these things. I strive to create a safe and caring environment in which my patients can think about their lives and make decisions to act with clarity and conviction. Sometimes the decision to ask someone for help is the greatest step one will take. If you are considering therapy, please call me and we will have a free consultation either on the telepone or in person.”
