I believe therapy works best when it engages the whole person - body, mind, emotions and spirit. As a therapist I provide a supportive, honest and compassionate space for the unfolding of your healing journey. My goal is to help you address the issues that keep you from living more fully, deeply and with greater satisfaction. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with additional expertise and credentialing in dance/ movement psychotherapy, alternative western Somatics/Body Therapies, Movement Analysis, Mindell Processwork, Somatic Experiencing and Authentic Movement.
I have worked with individuals, families, couples and groups of all ages (children to seniors) in hospitals, institutional settings and in private practice. Specific areas of diversity expertise include: GLBT and women's issues, multi-cultural experiences with a range of nationalities, cultures and religious/spiritual practices.
I specialize in using a range of traditional, alternative, creative and embodied techniques to address issues that include: healing personal and collective trauma, attachment issues, body image/self-esteem/identity concerns, personality, anxiety and mood disorders, and lifecycle transitions.
