I am a registered dance movement therapist and I specialize in eating disorders. I have also worked over 20 years with adults with chronic mental illness and helping empower women with history of trauma and abuse and working with at-risk families. I currently enjoy working with children 10 and up, teens, adults, families and couples. Se habla espanol.
I work from a body positive perspective. I believe all bodies are beautiful and promote healing from within so that everyone can be their strongest, wisest self and a nurturing parent to oneself. I use dance movement therapy, art, music, writing and introspective work to achieve self-awareness, a sense of self-empowerment and resilience.

Groups
Intro to Dance Movement Therapy Workshop
This is an opportunity to learn about what dance therapy is for those who've never tried it. The workshop will be 1 1/2 hours and will cover different elements of dance therapy. All populations are welcome. If enough people are interested, we may form some regular groups from there. The location will be in South Orange County, but the exact address won't be announced until I have a better idea of head count.
