To grow we must change. Some changes are voluntary and welcome; others are pushed on us against our will. Often, we need help to move forward, even when we know change is necessary. As your counselor my job is to give you that help. I will believe in you, giving you the guidance and support you need to get past whatever keeps you stuck. I will help you recognize your strengths and use them to bring your life into balance and reach your goals. My therapeutic approach employs tested techniques based in psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral methodology, mindfulness and more.

I have had training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and have extensive experience with trauma in children and adults. I have also been trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and have experience with substance abuse and recovery.

Sessions can be via the Internet for those unable to come to the office. Currently, online sessions are not covered by insurance. I welcome your email or phone call with any questions and will respond as quickly as I can.
