The betrayal of infidelity often causes the betrayed spouse to have obsessive thoughts, nightmares, and can lead to feelings of emotional explosiveness and anxiety in the first few days and months after the discovery of the affair. To begin the recovery process after the affair we will typically focus on rebuilding trust by recognizing this as a trauma situation. Treatment generally will consist of two main phases: rebuilding trust and repairing goodwill between you and your spouse. I believe that your marriage can be better than it was before the affair.
I specialize in helping couples recover and heal from broken trust and infidelity. I have Saturday appointments available. I am a Christian who practices couples therapy with the latest research methods.
