My therapeutic approach is geared to address your specific needs based on your strengths, goals, and current concerns, including cultural, family, mental health history, and relevant diagnostic issues. I utilize an empowerment and strength-based approach to help you access your best inner self through: identifying and accomplishing your life goals; achieving a calmer state of mind; improving problem solving and creative potential, no matter how difficult your circumstances. I have extensive training in multiple therapeutic methods including cognitive-behavioral, health realization, psychodynamic, family system, and Jungian approaches. For further information, I prefer to be contacted by phone.
PLEASE NOTE: As of September 30, 2014, I have closed my Santa Cruz/Santa Clara practices and will be on sabbatical until March 1, 2015. I will be taking Skype and phone consultations beginning March 1 through May 1 and opening my new practice in the summer of 2015 in Napa, CA.
