“I have primarily worked with children, adolescents, and their families for the past 10 years in mental health, residential and school settings. Prior to that, I worked for a domestic violence, rape crisis, and child abuse center where I worked with survivors and their families in various capacities, including group and individual counseling, crisis intervention, and victim advocacy. This has provided a great deal of experience in dealing with trauma and related issues, such as depression and anxiety in adults and children. It also has given me the opportunity to work with families in making positive changes in their lives.

Typically, my focus in therapy is on cognitive-behavioral strategies, which is an abbreviated way to say that I talk with people about their thoughts, feelings, and behavior and ways to change in order to resolve problems they may be experiencing.

I offer evening and Saturday appointment hours so counseling can be scheduled around work, school, and other obligations. I am conveniently located in Florence which is within an hour's drive of Darlington, Marion, Dillon, Chesterfield, Marlboro, Lee, Sumter, and Williamsburg counties.”
