Welcome to my profile. If you are experiencing difficulty or desire a change from your current situation I want to assure you- change is possible. One of the essential ingredients of change is the relationship in which the individual operates.It is a basic human need to be in contact with and be heard by others in a personal and comforting way. My varied experiences helping others create positive changes in their lives may help you too. Using various approaches, I lean heavily on Object Relations Theory to foster nurturing relationships between the client and their significant others.

While incorporating various approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psycho dynamic and Psycho-educational,my focus is to help strengthen families through individual, couple and family therapy. I have worked and trained with many leaders in child development- some of whom literally "wrote the book" on specific techniques to improve family relationships.

I am a certified Triple P Provider: Positive Parenting Program, and trained in PCIT:Parent Child Interactive Therapy. I have advanced training in Theraplay, an interaction based modality of play therapy, based in Chicago that focuses on four elements of a child's needs: nurture, structure, challenge,and engagement.
