Things are always changing. We change, as does everone and everything around us. With change sometimes comes stress, grief, trauma, drama, worry and fear. Learning how to monitor and manage your mind and mood can give you the confidence to manage virtually any experience or situation. "Minding your mind" has been proven to help people suffering from Anger, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, Communication Breakdown,and many other troubles of the mind. Through targeted mindfulness practices, we can learn to stay calm and think more clearly, even in the toughest situations.
Many of today's therapies have their roots in Eastern healthy mind traditions, thousands of years old. My practice often combines Eastern mindfulness and meditative practices with todays proven cognitive therapies to help clients learn to take comfortable control of their minds and their lives.
As we all learned in Kindergarten, if you want respect, learn to respect others. If you want friends, learn to be friendly. For every action there is a reaction. You cannot control the future, but sometimes you can influence it with the choices you make today, so, be nice :-)
