“A graduate with a Post Masters Certificate in Counseling, Masters Degree in Counseling, and a current doctoral student at Wayne State University, I have gained extensive training in working with individuals. As Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor I can help individuals who have substance abuse issues. My training also allows me to work with clients who my have relationship issues, anxiety, grief and loss, sexuality issues, lifestyle and career development, or issues with belonging to a minority population. It is only normal that people are afraid to take that first step, but seeking out help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

My approach to counseling begins with a solid foundation of strict confidentiality and is built upon with trust and caring that allows the client to achieve a healthy and satisfying lifestyle. Seeking out help to work on a personal situation is the first step in the therapeutic process.

Our private practice is certified by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities(CARF). Meeting CARF Accreditation Conditions demonstrates a substantial conformance to the CARF standards. These conditions are designed to benefit the individual served. CARF is an international, not-for-profit organization that accredits human services providers. www.carf.org”
