“Clients describe me in a number of ways: warm,outgoing and a little spacey; smart, enthusiastic and kind of funny; spiritual, calm and a bit on the old side. Whichever of these adjectives might apply in any given moment, clients always have my full attention and caring. I love the process of helping people sort out what the issues are, what can help, and how to change.

What is going on in a client's life, mind, or heart, in the context of their family and relationship history, will determine the direction of a given session. My role over the course of the therapy will include exploring, supporting, challenging, congratulating and teaching.

The fact that I am paid for the work I do often seems incidental; I feel so honored to share a person's innermost life and have the opportunity to help that each day is filled with joy for me.”
