Ms. Carol Rheingans

I enjoy working with clients that are motivated to effectively address personal life challenges. I find my work satisfying when helping clients build on strengths and change long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions to achieve personal growth and attain a more fulfilling and satisfying life. With over 30 years of experience, I have worked with a broad spectrum of clients dealing with depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, including obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, stress and anger management. Issues often addressed include family conflict and changes including divorce, remarriage, grief and loss, substance abuse and recovery, and personal trauma.

After working nearly 20 years as a school counselor, I gained licensure for private practice 1996. I specialize in a reality-based, cognitive-behavioral approach to help clients work toward more effective behaviors in attaining a more satisfying life experience.
