'Mental health is not the absence of problems; it is the ability to deal with them.' This is my belief, based on extensive clinical experience in a variety of settings. My private practice has been established for over 20 years in individual psychotherapy and couple counseling. I have the expertise and training to help you deal with most of life's challenges and relationships from low self esteem, interpersonal relationships, loss, illness, abuse issues, shyness, family conflicts, intimacy and sexual issues and parenting. I deal with most issues. I am particularly interested in helping individuals with low self esteem, difficulties in relationships with friends, colleagues and family.

My therapy style is supportive and empowering. I am respectful and accepting of people's beliefs. Couples in counseling can expect to relate to each other more positively, feel more emotionally connected, appreciate each other's differences, rebuild their relationship after an infidelity, resolve sexual issues and enhance their sexual relationship.

My counseling approach comes from many different modalities [psycho-dynamic, relational psychology and Adlerian] and is tailored to meet each client's needs, using techniques which are more solution focused or behavioral, when needed. I have created an attractive, private counseling environment to ensure that clients can feel relaxed, safe and comfortable.
