I have worked with children in school settings for over thirty years. For the past 6 years I have been employed as a School- based Clinician in Addison County. In the schools and in private practice I integrate psychotherapy and expressive arts modalities. These modalities translate easily to adults. Another modality Cassandra brings is Somatic Experiencing. SE is a body-based approach to counseling that helps heal trauma and restore balance to an over-stimulated nervous system.
I am continually training in Sand tray and play therapy. Currently I am studying Somatic Experiencing, a body based modality that aids in the treatment of trauma.
